He looks rather glowing. It must be the colourful background.
Maybe it's to make up for the fact that his mausoleum is closed at the moment for renovations. It won't be open until late September.

we have been to mao's mausoleum before. his body was too real to be true, just like a painted doll. i like the huge caligraphy of his poems. dont know whether they were enlarged prints or embroidered pieces. unfortunately i have not been to lenin's mausoleum in moscow, no way to compare.
